Gammera The Invincible | Attack of The Killer B's

This week on Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In, reruns rule with 1966's Gammera The Invincible.

A nuclear explosion awakens a fire-breathing monster from hibernation. No, not Godzilla. We're talking about Gammera (with 2 M's)!

Gammera, who's clearly not a morning person, opens a can of whoop-booty on Tokyo. Meanwhile, teenyboppers dance to the Gammera theme song... at least until he crashes the party.

Back at the Drive-In, Wolfman Mac has his hands full with Boney Bob's newest get-rich-quick scheme.

Tune in to Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In this Saturday night at Midnight. Only on Detroit's My TV 20!

And don't forget to come out next Thursday at the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak for Attack of The Killer B's! We'll be showing the Roger Corman stinker Attack of The Giant Leeches!

Join Wolfman Mac and the Chiller Drive-In cast and crew. That’s 7pm on Sept 3rd - $9-adults, $7-Students and $5-Little Monsters. Click here to download the flyer.

Gorgo!

The reruns are in full swing at Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In! Yeah! This week we’re bringing back some of our May Monster Movie Mayhem.

And the first monster to bust on to the scene is Gorgo! If you thought the biggest thing to ever come out of Ireland was Riverdance, then you’re in for a surprise. In this 1961 stinkeroo, a giant monster is captured and taken to London to be put on display. But the creature’s mother is not happy about it.

And if you think you’ve read that before, you’re right. We’re even rerunning the stuff we posted back when we first aired the episode!

That’s this Saturday night at Midnight: Gorgo! on Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In! Only on Detroit’s My TV 20!

What’s not a rerun is the latest batch of stuff from Prop Artisan, Dave Ivey! He has a couple classic Froggy The Gremlin props from The Ghoul up for bids. Click here to bid on these one-of-a-kind props now!

Reruns!

It had to happen sooner or later. We’ll be back with all new episodes on September 19th, but until then Chiller Drive-In is taking a short summer vacation. For the next 5 weeks we’ll be dredging up some of the least obnoxious episodes from Season 1.

This week tune in for Devil Doll – the story of a dummy and his possessed puppet. It stars Bryant Haliday whose acting is nearly as wooden as his ventriloquist dummy. Yvonne Romain brings this film out of the gothic doldrums with her stunning good looks and dancing.

Tune in this Saturday Night at Midnight for Devil Doll on Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In. Only on Detroit's My TV 20!

And it’s not too soon to mark your calendar for September’s Attack Of The Killer B’s at the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak. Thursday, September 3rd we’ll be digging up a really slimy one; Roger Corman's Attack of The Giant Leeches.

Join Wolfman Mac and the Chiller Drive-In cast and crew. That’s 7pm on Sept 3rd - $9-adults, $7-Students and $5-Little Monsters. Click here to download the flyer.

No more hot dogs til you eat the one in your mouth! And tune in to Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In’s season finale this Saturday night at 1 am (one hour later than usual) for “Horror of Party Beach”. A beach full of dancing teenyboppers, greasers and old-people-pretending-to-be-teenagers is terrorized by a radioactive monster that looks like it’s eaten way too many hot dogs at once and forgotten how to chew.

This film has it all! Monsters, music, bikini babes, summer fun, mayhem, drunks and radioactive explosions!

Meanwhile, the stars of Chiller Drive-In take a break from the projector booth and go outside for some campfire fun. But what’s the unspeakable horror stalking them in the darkness? You’ll have to tune in to find out!

The Phantom Planet

It's the penultimate episode of Chiller Drive-In's first season! And to celebrate we've dug up 1961's "The Phantom Planet".

This sci-fi stinker is your typical man-meets-aliens fare, with desperate attempts at realism, cheeseball special effects (come to think of it, the asteroids kinda look like cheeseballs) and sub plots galore.

Solarite! It stars Dean Fredericks who appeared in dozens of films and TV shows in 50s and 60s. But is perhaps best known as "Steve Canyon" from the short lived TV series of the same name.

Stealing the show with her raven hair and scorching hot bod is Dolores Faith as Zetha. It's even better that she's mute through most of the film. You'll also see Richard Kiel (best known as Jaws in several Bond films) paying his dues as the Solarite alien.

That's tonight at Midnight on Detroit's My TV 20! The Phantom Planet on Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In!
