April Fool's with Chiller Drive-In

The April fools at Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In are once again presenting “Attack of The Killer B’s” at the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak!

Need a hand? This month we have the 1959 Vincent Price classic, “The House on Haunted Hill”. An eccentric millionaire and his snarky wife are such rotten people that they have to pay 5 strangers $10,000 each to come and hang out with them. Oh, and to make things more interesting, they have this little party in a haunted mansion.

This Thursday, April 1st at 7pm at the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak. $9 Adults, $7 Students, $5 Kids | Main Art Theater - 118 Main Street, Royal Oak (248) 263-2111.

This Saturday night, Wolfman Mac is back at Bo’s Smokehouse in Pontiac with Rockabilly Weekends! This week Cat Canyon and the Captivators will storming the scene! TORG will dancing so much, he'll void his warranty!

Doors open at 8:30! Drink specials all night and the kitchen is open until Midnight. 21 and over only. $5 cover at the door - No cover for ladies before 9pm. Bo’s Smokehouse is at 51 North Saginaw Street, Pontiac - (248) 338-6200.

She was great in Spider Baby.Saturday night at 10pm Eastern & Pacific - 9pm Central & Mountain on RTV – Tune in this week for the 1963 Psycho-wanna-be, "Dementia 13". It's a film loaded with senseless killing and a plot that makes even less sense. It's hard to believe that Francis Ford Coppola directed this movie, but easy to believe Roger Corman produced it.

Saturday night at Midnight on Ft. Myers' My TV 8 – It's monster movie rerun mayhem with "King Kong Escapes"! When a giant robot Kong can't dig up enough radioactive Element X, the evil Dr. Who (No relation to the famous Timelord) decides to kidnap the real thing!

It's monkey shenanigans and kaiju smackdown - thanks to the good folks at Rankin/Bass.

HorrorHound - NOTLD & Gammera!

Horror Icons - all stapled together

The largest horror convention in the Midwest is finally upon us!

And don’t miss the Official Tribute to Vampira! Horror hosts from all over the world will gather in a gangrenous mass and present their favorite horror movies and pay homage to the first of their kind, Vampira! Wolfman Mac, Professor M Balmer and a contingent of Chiller Drive-In inmates will present "Attack of The Giant Leeches" on Saturday.

And if you can’t get to Horrorhound, Chiller Drive-In has you covered.

I hurtSaturday night at 10pm Eastern & Pacific - 9pm Central & Mountain on RTV – Tune in for what is arguably the greatest horror film ever made, "Night of The Living Dead." It’s the iconic, all-you-can-eat zombie munch-fest that all that followed wish they could measure up to. Just remember, the cellar is not always the safest place.

Click here to find RTV in your neighborhood.

Saturday night at Midnight on Ft. Myers' My TV 8 – Send in the reruns! 1966's "Gammera The Invincible." A nuclear explosion awakens a fire-breathing monster from hibernation. No, not Godzilla. We're talking about Gammera (with 2 M's)!

Gammera, who's clearly not a morning person, opens a can of whoop-booty on Tokyo. Meanwhile, teenyboppers dance to the Gammera theme song... at least until Big G crashes the party.

Lots to go over this week, so let's get to it:

Wolfman Mac's Rockabilly Weekends at Bo's Smokehouse is just Saturday this week - We have to psyche ourselves up for The Twistin' Tarantula's when they bring the roof down! Don't let that stop you from heading to Bo's Friday night for some of the BBQ in Metro Detroit! Wolfman Mac spins the tunes between sets and TORG will be shaking what his manufacturer gave him! Drink specials and the kitchen is open till Midnight!

Anyone know a good manicurist?Saturday night at 10pm Eastern & Pacific - 9pm Central on RTV - Tune in for the 1922 silent classic that needs no introduction, "Nosferatu." Saturday night at Midnight on Ft. Myers' My TV 8 - Season 2 wraps up with the 1959 cinematic stinker, "Teenage Zombies." Lose an Hour (or a few) with Chiller Drive-In!

What better way to lose an hour of sleep this weekend than to lose it with Chiller Drive-In?

This weekend, Wolfman Mac is back at Bo’s Smokehouse in Pontiac with Rockabilly Weekends! The excitement was just too much for Fridays, so we’re taking over Bo’s on Saturday too!

Kicking off Friday night, the Triple Aces come in all the way from Saginaw to provide the live music. And you can count on TORG being there too! Click here to download the flier.

Saturday night, the Rockabilly Strangers return to Bo’s. You know they’ll tear the place up. Can TORG possibly keep up or will his hydraulics give out on the dance floor? Be there to find out!

Doors open both nights at 8:30! Drink specials all night and the kitchen is open until Midnight. 21 and over only. $5 cover at the door - No cover for ladies before 9pm. Bo’s Smokehouse is at 51 North Saginaw Street, Pontiac - (248) 338-6200.

This Saturday afternoon at 4pm, Wolfman Mac will be at American Pop in downtown Ferndale for a fundraiser to “Save The Ferndale Pony”! Let’s save the pony for kids of all ages!

American Pop is located at 175 West 9 Mile Rd - just west of Woodward in Freaky Ferndale. Visit the Ferndale 115 site for more info!

I almost forgot; we also have a TV show that you can watch.

Saturday night at 10pm Eastern/Pacific/9pm Central on RTV - This week we have a touching love story about a man who “accidentally” kills his ex girlfriend by throwing her off a lighthouse (points for originality), and is then haunted by her ghost. Yep, it’s that stinker from 1960, “Tormented.”

Dig up a date, light a few candles and tune in to Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In for Tormented! It’s about the closest we’re ever going to get to showing a chick-flick.

Click here to find RTV in your area!

Saturday night at Midnight on Ft. Myers’ My TV 8 - From 1976 you've got “The Legend of Bigfoot”. This stinker of a documentary explores the wilderness of North America in search of Chiller Drive-In’s second-favorite hair covered individual.

Leeches and Skulls

It’s been a long week, and we know what you need: Some chills and thrills from Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In!

We're taking a break from the rockabilly bands tonight. However, we'll be back next week with "Rockabilly Weekends" starting with the Triple Aces on Friday and Rockabilly Strangers on Saturday!

Tonight, Wolfman Mac will be playing music at Bo's Smokehouse in downtown Pontiac. Come hang out with the Chiller cast and crew! 9pm till... whenever. The kitchen is open till midnight and drink specials all night long. No cover.

No marks please... my wife will get suspiciousSaturday night at 10pm Eastern/9pm Central on RTV - it's the only horror film to be subsidized by the coffee makers of America, Roger Corman's classic from 1959, "Attack of the Giant Leeches."

Radiation once again plays the role of monster maker and turns some happy little swamp leeches into monstrous beasts that leave basketball sized hickeys on their human victims. It stars Yvette Vickers, who was probably best known as Playboy's Miss July 1959.

Click here to find RTV in your neck of the bog.

Saturday Night at Midnight on Ft. Myers’ My TV 8 – make sure your life insurance policy is up to date and then tune in for “The Screaming Skull” from 1958. This film could quite possibly scare you to death! If it does, the filmmakers will pay for your funeral. And Boney Bob schemes to cash in on this promise!
