We're abuzz for Wasp Woman

Dig up your honey and tune in to Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In this week!

Saturday night at 10pm Eastern & Pacific - 9pm Central & Mountain on RTV: Your hive or hers? Tune in for "The Wasp Woman."

Produced and directed by Roger Corman, and starring the late Susan Cabot in her final role before retiring from B-Movies. She probably thought that she didn't need to work in Corman movies when her personal life was crazier than anything he could come up with on screen.

Saturday at 8pm on WISE-TV, My TV Ft. Wayne: Check you flight suit and get ready for a trip to "Phantom Planet."

This sci-fi stinker is your typical man-meets-aliens fare, with desperate attempts at realism, cheeseball special effects (come to think of it, the asteroids kinda look like cheeseballs) and sub plots galore.

Saturday night at 1 am on Ft. Myers' My TV 8: Stay up late with Chiller Drive-In at our new regular time! This week, you've got "The Wasp Woman."

Got a case of the winter blah's and need to get out of the house? Then join Wolfman Mac and the cast and crew of Chiller Drive-In at our next Attack of The Killer B's at the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak.

This month, we've dug up the Valentine's Day classic, "The Violent Years." Okay, it's not really a Valentine's Day movie, but it is full of girls behaving badly: the kind of girl every guy wants as his valentine.

Ed Wood wrote this film about a girl gang that turns their town and school upside down. Of course there will be shorts, cartoons, retro commercials and other Chiller Drive-In silliness to go with the film.

Thursday, February 3rd at 7pm. $9 Adults, $7 Students, $5 Kids | 118 Main Street, Royal Oak | (248) 263-2111.

Go ape when King Kong Escapes!

It's a go-go gorilla week on Chiller Drive-In.

Saturday night at 10pm Eastern & Pacific - 9pm Central & Mountain on RTV: It's time to go ape when "King Kong Escapes!"

When a giant robot Kong can't dig up enough radioactive Element X, the evil Dr. Who (No relation to the famous Timelord) decides to kidnap the real thing! However King Kong's current gal pal and her commanding officers have something to say about that. Special thanks to our good friends at Rankin/Bass.

Saturday at 8pm on WISE-TV, My TV Ft. Wayne: Make a date with "She Beast."

Even though Barbara Steele is barely in this film, she managed to get top billing. However, it's the screwball antics of the Romanian Police that steal the show. This film combines horror and Keystone Cops capers in a complete mess that only Chiller Drive-In would dare show.

Saturday night at 1 am on Ft. Myers' My TV 8: Stay up late with Chiller Drive-In at our new regular time! This week, it's more monster movie mayhem with "King Kong Escapes."

In case you didn’t get enough Rankin/Bass over the holidays (is it possible to get enough?), we’ve got the stop-motion animated classic "Mad Monster Party?" for you this month. Starring the voices of Boris Karloff and Phyllis Diller and a mass of monsters including the Mummy, the Invisible Man, Dracula and many more! Oh, and don’t forget about "It!"

Back to the start

It’s a week of monster mayhem no matter where you watch Chiller Drive-In!

Godzilla blows chunks!Saturday night at 10pm Eastern & Pacific - 9pm Central & Mountain on RTV: It’s the radioactive mutant turtle that beats them all, "Gammera The Invincible."

A nuclear explosion awakens a fire-breathing monster from hibernation. No, not Godzilla. We're talking about Gammera (with 2 M's - that's how you know he means business)!

Gammera, who's clearly not a morning person, opens a can of whoop-booty on Tokyo. Meanwhile, teenyboppers dance to the Gammera theme song... at least until Big G crashes the party.

Saturday night at Midnight on Ft. Myers' My TV 8: It’s time to go ape when "King Kong Escapes!"

When a giant robot Kong can't dig up enough radioactive Element X, the evil Dr. Who (No relation to the famous Timelord) decides to kidnap the real thing! However King Kong's current gal pal and her commanding officers have something to say about that.

Saturday at 8pm on WISE-TV, My TV Ft. Wayne: Tune in for "Werewolf in a Girl’s Dormitory."

Yeah, it’s got some bad dubbing, and the dialog is awful, and the werewolf is pretty lame, but it does star drop-dead-gorgeous Barbara Lass. And plenty of folks get mauled, so it’s not all bad.

It's the mummy! And if all the reruns have you down, join Wolfman Mac and the cast and crew of Chiller Drive-In at our next Attack of The Killer B’s at the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak.

Make Up Week

Back in November, there were technical difficulties during our “Brain That Wouldn’t Die” episode, and less than half of the show made it on the air. So this week we’re going to have a make up episode before we set the WABAC Machine to Season One.

Just call him Stumpy.Saturday night at 10pm Eastern & Pacific - 9pm Central & Mountain on RTV: Tune in this week for "The Brain That Wouldn't Die."

The kooky Dr. Cortner and his beautiful fiancée Jan, take a trip to his weekend retreat. But a horrible car accident decapitates Jan and the doc collects her severed head and rushes it to his laboratory, where he keeps it alive in a cookie sheet. Now the doc needs a new body so he can make Jan whole again!

Saturday night at Midnight on Ft. Myers' My TV 8: It’s everyone’s favorite radioactive mutant turtle, "Gammera The Invincible."

A nuclear explosion awakens a fire-breathing monster from hibernation. No, not Godzilla. We're talking about Gammera (with 2 M's - that's how you know he means business)!

Saturday at 8pm on WISE-TV, My TV Ft. Wayne: Like cheese and Cheesecake? "The Horrors of Spider Island" has both!

The only real horror about this film is that fact that it got made in the first place. It stars a bevy of babes that get stranded on a deserted island with their manager. The manager gets bitten by a huge spider and turns into a fuzzy monster. It's a terrible movie that's easy on the eye.

What's so merry about itJanuary can be mighty chilly, so Chiller Drive-In is thawing things out: Join Wolfman Mac and cast and crew of Chiller Drive-In at the Romeo Creamery for the "Very Scary, Ultra Merry, Hot & Hairy January."

Come out and have a cup of tea, howling hot chocolate and hot spiced cider - or ice cream if it's just not cold enough outside for you! Saturday, Jan 8th from 1-5pm! The Romeo Creamery is at 227 N Main Street in Romeo. Call them at (586) 752-2222 or hook up with them on Facebook.

Just a reminder - There will be no Killer B's show this month. We'll be back in Royal Oak on February 3rd with a classic horror flick that's sure to get you in the Valentine's Day mood! We’ll be announcing next month’s film soon!
