This week on Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In, we've got a film that truly was ahead of it's time.

Saturday at 10 pm EST on RTV: Tune in for "The Brain That Wouldn't Die." This movie set the tone for all other disembodied-head-on-a-cookie-sheet flicks to come.

The kooky Dr. Cortner and his beautiful fiancée Jan, take a trip to his weekend retreat. But a horrible car accident decapitates Jan and the doc collects her severed head and rushes it to his laboratory, where he revives it and manages to keep it alive in a cookie sheet. Now the doc needs a new body so he can make Jan whole again!

This movie has a little bit of something for everyone. There's even a monster in the closet.

Saturday at 10 pm EST on RTV: It's back to Season 3 with a vampire movie that, well... Seems to be missing a vampire; from 1963 it's "Atom Age Vampire."

When a hot blond is horribly disfigured in an accident, a wacky scientist develops a treatment that restores her beauty and falls in love with her. To preserve her appearance the doctor must give her additional treatments using glands taken from murdered women. His odd ability to turn into a monster helps with this problem but does nothing to win her love.

This is one those films where the title pretty much tells you all you need to know. An oversized reptile develops a taste for human flesh and attacks a barn dance full of teenagers. The cops are useless so it's up to a teenage musician/hot rod mechanic to stop the monster from eating everyone in town.

But first, he'll have to put down that stupid ukulele.

All You Can Eat Zombie Buffet

You know it's nearly Halloween when there are more zombies than usual on your TV.

Saturday at 10 pm EST on RTV: They’re all messed up in "Night of The Living Dead."

Arguably, the greatest horror film ever made, Night of The Living Dead is the iconic, all-you-can-eat zombie munch-fest that all that followed wish they could measure up to. Just remember, the cellar is not always the safest place.

Saturday at 11 pm on SE Michigan U-Verse Channel 99 (Addison feed): She's not just a man eater, she’s a "She Beast."

Even though Barbara Steele is barely in this film, she managed to get top billing. It’s really the screwball antics of the Romanian Police that steal the show. This film combines horror and Keystone Cops capers in a complete mess that only Chiller Drive-In would dare show.

It’s a touching love story about a man who "accidentally" kills his ex-girlfriend by throwing her off a lighthouse (points for originality), and is then haunted by her ghost. Richard Carlson plays a Jazz pianist that can’t seem to stop killing people to keep his crimes quiet.

Saturday at 11 pm on SE Michigan U-Verse Channel 99 (Addison feed): Hope you’re hungry for Cheese and Cheesecake! It’s "Horrors of Spider Island."

The only real horror about this film is that fact that it got made in the first place. It stars a bevy of babes that are stranded on a deserted island with their manager... who turns into a spider monster.

Monday at 8pm EST on The Monster Channel: "When it flies, someone dies!" No, we're not talking about Morbid Melvin's farts. Tune in for "The Bat."

An enigmatic figure known only as "The Bat" terrorizes a couple of old ladies and tries to get his claws on a million dollars that recently went missing from the local bank! Starring Vincent Price, Agnes Moorehead and Darla Hood.

A man is haunted by visions of a hot blond, so he dumps his frumpy brunette girlfriend and joins a Satanic cult... Yeah, who hasn’t had this happen to them? Starring Neil Hamilton - who is probably best remembered as Commissioner Gordon on the 1960’s Batman TV show.

Saturday at 11 pm on SE Michigan U-Verse Channel 99 (Addison feed): What happens when someone takes a “poke war” a bit too far? You get "I Bury The Living."

The newly appointed chairman of a cemetery can cause deaths by simply placing black pins in the unoccupied-but-sold graves indicated by a map on the wall. And you thought your job was stressful.

Monday at 8pm EST on The Monster Channel: It’s the only mutant turtle that matters: "Gammera The Invincible."

The only real horror about this film is that fact that it got made in the first place. It stars a bevy of babes that get stranded on a deserted island with their manager. The manager gets bitten by a huge spider and turns into a fuzzy monster. It's a terrible movie that's easy on the eye.

This time, Gamera takes on the rainbow spewing monster Barugon... who seems to get an awful lot of screen time (he must have been related to the director). The disrespect doesn’t stop there, but surprisingly Gamera even takes the mispronouncing of his name all in stride. What a turtle.

A troupe of exotic dancers and their manager wash up on a deserted island after a plane crash. The girls pass the time by fighting, making snotty comments and wearing skimpy outfits. Meanwhile the manager gets bitten by a radioactive spider and turns into a fuzzy monster that stalks the girls.

It's been pretty crazy at Chiller Drive-In for the past few weeks, so this weekend, we’re going easy on you.

That is if you consider watching a film that is regarded as one of the worst ever made as "easy."

Saturday night at 10pm Eastern & Pacific, 9pm Central & Mountain on RTV – Chiller Drive-In wraps up Season 2 with the legendary suck fest from 1959, "Teenage Zombies."

A group of nosy teens discover the laboratory of a sultry mad scientist who plans to turn everyone on the face of the Earth into a dopey "zombie". If think that's insane, wait until the fight scene with the gorilla.

Saturday night at Midnight on Ft. Myers' My TV 8 - Gird your loins for Barbara Steele starring in "She Beast." Even though Barbara Steele is barely in this film, she managed to get top billing. It’s really the screwball antics of the Romanian Police that steal the show. This film combines horror and Keystone Cops capers in a complete mess that only Chiller Drive-In would dare show.

And this week, Chiller Drive-In welcomes EISE-TV (Channel 33.2) in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to our sick family. Chiller Drive-In is crashing the prime time lineup Saturday nights at 8pm! And we're kicking things off with "Gammera The Invincible!"

A nuclear explosion awakens a fire-breathing turtle monster from hibernation. No, not Godzilla. We're talking about Gammera (with 2 M's - that's how you know he means business)! Gammera, who's clearly not a morning person, opens a can of whoop-booty on Tokyo and hangs with teenagers as they boogie down to the Gammera Theme Song.

Motor City Comic Con and "Legend of Bigfoot"

This weekend it's the one and only Motor City Comic Con in Novi, Michigan! This Friday, May 14th thru Sunday, May 16th at the Rock Financial Showplace. It’s the largest pop culture show in the state!

This year the guest list is so long that it would probably crash your Internets if you tried to download it. Mirina Sirtis, Adam West, Ray Park, Linda Blair, Dawn Wells, Virginia Hey (giggity), Lindsay Wagner, Jim Kelly and gobs and gobs more. Heck, even that guy that played the Stormtrooper that said "These aren’t the droids we're looking for" is going to be there. How freaking cool is that?

Not to mention the lumpy mass of comic book artists like the great Sergio Argones and dozens more! Including Tony Miello, the artist behind the new Chiller Drive-In comic book. Plus aisle after aisle of vendors and events!

And of course Chiller Drive-In will be there too! Wolfman Mac and the cast will be making appearances throughout the weekend, so drop by and say hi!

Yeah, it’s got some bad dubbing, and the dialog is awful, and the werewolf is pretty lame, but it does star drop-dead-gorgeous Barbara Lass. And plenty of folks get mauled by werewolves. So it’s not all bad.

It's the timeless tale of a boy, his girl, and a man-eating plant! And watch for Jack Nicholson in one of his first big screen appearances. Jenni, who has a history of mental illness, begins to see strange things. Is she going bonkers again, or is there something more sinister going on?
